Professionally
I'm the lead designer for my own agency, JOVA Design. I provide the full gambit of design work, including competitive analyses, user interviews and testing, low and high fidelity wireframes on Figma, and handoff documents for developers. I dabble in project management, front end code, and SEO work as needed. I design for mission-driven organizations; community impact work is what drives me the most.​​
Personally
I am a first generation immigrant and college student with roots in Uruguay, Peru, and Brazil and speak both Spanish and Portuguese. After graduating from Duke University (go Blue Devils!), I taught hundreds of students through Teach for America and Americorps. In my free time, you can find me at my CrossFit gym, playing board games, or reading any genre of book.
